After a full nights sleep, we have jumped right in and started COLOMBIANIZING ourselves (thats a word I promise). We attended El Redil Sur and were welcomed like we were family. Diego preached from James on prayer and he broke the church into groups and we spent time praying for each other (with one canadian in each group). Many of us could barely understand but in that moment we were all family - and God knew what our prayers were.
Now were are practicing for tomorrow. We are teaching a group of business people tomorrow from 7am-9am. Pray for energy and strength as this is an early start! :) There are 25 students so only 8 of us are going- Jordan, Brad and I (Laura) will be teaching and Rick, Eleanor, Nicole, Nick and Amanda will facilitate. Pray that through the changes we will still be effective in our teaching.
We are excited for the teaching to start. Continue to pray for the students, and for God to amaze us with the number of students who do attend! Even though the Colombians have been amazing at advertizing, and promoting, the numbers are still low. We have all been feeling like this is a spiritual thing and ask that you would pray into that.
We are all doing well.
We love you all!
More to come tomorrow.
~Laura
